About Me

I grew up in a small town in Maine. While my brothers spent many hours playing outside in the woods, I was inside playing on my Atari 2600 or original Nintendo. My dad would help me learn how to fly fish or build a campfire, but in time I was helping him defrag his computer’s hard drive and install Linux on his laptop. I was given an appreciation for the great outdoors, but found that I could help others with my nerdy tendencies.

Since the first Android phone came out, I was hooked. I missed out on getting the very first “G1” Android phone, but bought my first Android phone from Sprint.

I’ve since had over a dozen phones, multiple tablets, and a couple of iPads and iPods. My friends and family come to me for buying advice and troubleshooting troubles on their gadgets.

Because I couldn’t find a reliable online source of mobile tips and guides to direct my friends and family in Maine to, I decided to make one myself. Feel free to contact me for any feedback or question at steve@mobileinmaine.com .
